The journey of creativity and innovation at Mogo Media Academy continues to grow stronger! On February 15th, we proudly welcomed our second batch of Animation and Game Development students and our first-ever batch of VFX and Concept Art students. This milestone is not just a testament to our growth but a powerful reminder of the dreams we are nurturing and the future we are shaping.
As the students walked through our doors, they weren’t just entering a classroom—they were stepping into a world of limitless possibilities, where imagination meets technology, and passion transforms into skill.
A Celebration of Growth and Creativity
The inauguration ceremony was a heartwarming event, filled with anticipation, inspiration, and a sense of belonging. Our Head of Academy welcomed students and parents, encouraging them to think beyond the ordinary, embrace challenges, and enjoy every moment of their creative journey.
A special video presentation introduced the students to Derana Macroentertainment, giving them a glimpse into the exciting industry they are about to become a part of. Mr. Madhawa, our Director, delivered an emotional speech, reflecting on the academy’s past, the present achievements, and the bright future ahead—not just for our students but for Sri Lanka’s creative industry as a whole. He emphasized how this field can uplift the economy, create job opportunities, and put Sri Lanka on the global creative map.
Our international lecturer, Mr. Viru, shared his insights on the endless opportunities available to those willing to push their creative boundaries. His words resonated deeply, inspiring students to dream big and see beyond geographical limits.
